Services

Rising Resilience Counseling provides individual counseling for children (8-12), teens (ages 13+) and adults. In the interest of Covid safety and convenience, therapy sessions are currently being conducted remotely via telehealth. In-person sessions are available with proof of vaccination, please bring up your preference in your inquiry so we can discuss the best option for you.

Some of the presenting issues that clients seek help with include:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • PTSD and CPTSD

  • Trauma processing

  • Life transitions such as moving,
    changing careers, empty nest,
    retirement

  • Healing after divorce

  • Healing from abuse

  • Behavior challenges

  • Recovery support

  • Parenting challenges

  • Grief and loss

  • Codependency

  • Families of alcoholics/addicts

We Do NOT Provide:

Couples counseling, family counseling, or counseling for children younger than age 8, although we are happy to provide referrals for providers who offer these services.

Therapy Modalities:

Rising Resilience Counseling provides therapy from a person-centered orientation, meaning that the client is the expert of their life, and the counselor’s role is to walk alongside the client to support their healing journey.  The counselor utilizes skills including active listening, accurate empathy, and unconditional positive regard.  At times a more directive approach is necessary, at which time we will utilize interventions and tools from the following modalities:

  • CBT

  • DBT

  • Mindfulness

  • Art Therapy

  • Play Therapy

  • Sandtray Therapy

Pricing:

Rising Resilience Counseling is not currently paneled with any insurance companies, but can provide a monthly superbill that the client can submit to their insurance for reimbursement as an Out of Network Provider. 50-minute sessions are $140.
